Zusammenfassung

Mr. Burns gewinnt bei einem Pokerspiel das Basketball-Team Austin Celtics. Nachdem er den schrillen Dallas Mavericks-Besitzer Mark Cuban erlebt hat, möchte auch Burns mit einem spektakulären Rahmenprogramm sein Team zu neuem Ruhm führen; er beschließt, ein super-modernes Stadion zu bauen. Indes hat Lisa festgestellt, dass in Springfield alle Bienen an Bienen-Masern verstorben sind. Mit der Hilfe von Prof. Frink gelingt es ihr, eine noch gesunde Königin ausfindig zu machen …

THE SIMPSONS: Mr. Burns witnesses the antics of Dallas MavericksÕ owner Mark Cuban (guest voice as himself, L), and decides to emulate CubanÕs over-the-top crowd pleasing stunts in order to win over the hearts of SpringfieldÕs basketball fans. In the midst of his failing endeavor, Mr. Burns decides that the best way to win over the fans is to build a brand new, state-of-the-art sports arena. Unfortunately, the last remaining bee colony in Springfield is located on the proposed stadium site, and Lisa is single-handedly spearheading a movement to protect them, while Homer attempts to help the quickly diminishing bee population by mating the Springfield bees with Africanized bees, creating a buzzworthy fiasco in "The Burns and the Bees" episode of THE SIMPSONS airing Sunday, Dec. 7 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/8:00-8:30 PM PT) on FOX.
